Marangu Culture Tour

Driving from Moshi, you will pass beautiful plantations of bananas, yams, potatoes and coffee, en route to Kinumakori Waterlall. Kinumakori Waterfall in Marangu is not the highest, but is a beautiful walk that enables you to see the waterfall both from the bottom and the top. Althe waterfalls, you can relax amongst tranquil nature and swim in the cool waters.
The waterfall is located near Marangu village, which is a typical village of the Chagga people, sitting at 1,800 altitude above sea level.
At the village, we will visit the Chagga cultural centre. Also, we will visit caves where the Chagga people were hidduring during the war. In the village, you will furthermore see the traditional Chagga houses and visit the family of a coffee farmer. Together with a guide, he will explain, stage by stage, on how to prepare coffee – from picking ripe coffee berries to the final cup of delicious shot coffee.
This trip includes the waterfalls, cultural center, underground caves, and coffee farmer, visit lo the Chagga house, a lunch box, 1.5 liters drinking water and banana beer.

Rundugai Hot Spring "Chemka"

After the breakfast, the journey to the inviting Chemka Hot Springs will begin. Your Guide will share with you the vast knowledge of the region throughout your entire day .
Travelling time is approximately one hour from the lodge.
Upon arrival, you will get to know the detailed history of the Chemka hot springs and ample time to enjoy and swim in the crystal clear water with an ambient temperatures of 26 degrees centigrade.
After Lunch and well spent time, we will head back to the lodge via Moshi town where you can do some personal shopping.

Materuni Waterfalls

2 Km

Materuni waterfalls is one of the closest attractions to the Lodge.
Options of transport towater falls is either by walking, bicycle, Motor bicycle.
The guide will take you to a coffee tour at a traditional Chagga 'shamba'.
Here your guide will explain all aspects of the Chagga homestead including the other crops that they grow aside from coffee. You will get to see how the coffee is produced- from picking the bean to roasting and then drinking a delicious cup yourself.
Following your coffee tour, you Will then take a short hike {make sure to wear some sport or Mountain boot, shoes as it can be muddy up there), passing through local villages to reach the waterfalls. Here you will have traditional lunch freshly cooked by the local family. Following lunch you will have the opportunity to take a dip in the refreshing {quite cold•) pools beneath the waterfalls. When you have had your fill of this beautiful place you can start walking back to the lodge through the village ways shortcuts.

Osiligilai Maasai Village

Osiligilai is a village in Maasai located between the great Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru approximately 85 Km from Moshi town and 96 Km from the lodge. It is the best place to learn and see the Maasai culture & Livelihood. It is Such an "EDEN " .Then we will visit Osiligi-Lai Masai Lodge . Sitting quietly in the 20 acres, the Maasai Lodge is located near Ngabobo Village, Ndinyika, Siha, West Kilimanjaro and is only 15km from Arusha National Park.
